Description: General assistant needed for picturesque hotel in North Yorkshire town !

With beautiful surroundings and a friendly team, this small hotel offers a place for a enthusiastic and dedicated General assistant with scope to run duty manager shifts in this busy 30+ bed hotel.

The General assistant MUST have at least 1 years experience in quality 3/ 4/5* small hotels and rosette experience would be ideal

The General assistant should be capable of supervising staff and ideally should have experience at supervisor level with existing duty management experience would be a advantage but not essential

The General assistant will ideally have experience working in all areas of Front of House, including bar, restaurant, conferencing and reception. However training will be given in all areas

As General assistant you will be very “hands on” in your approach, leading the team of part time and casual staff by example.

Friendly and approachable people with excellent management skills would be excellent for this role of General assistant

This job would be a great chance for a recent graduate looking for their first full time role !

The position of General assistant offers an attractive salary of £13 ½ k+ good tips for a combination of straight and split shifts, five days out of seven.
