Description: Sales Manager needed in busy hotel
Harrogate salary negotiable for the right candidate IRO £25,000

We are looking for a Sales Manager for this progressive hotel group who can maintain and ensure regular customers are always happy and continue to use the hotel, whilst also bring in new business for the hotel which offers extensive conference, banqueting facilities and can cater for vast numbers.
The Sales Manager will report directly to the director of sales for the group and will be very proactive in continuing to grow the business
The successful candidate must be highly customer focused and have at least 2 years within a hotel sales role
You must also be very knowledge of the Harrogate /North Yorkshire area and the competition in the area
Your duties will also include:
Achieve set goals and budgetary targets by executing sales activities within the assigned market sector.
Develop new business by targeting new accounts
Build this new hotel business up in a new area and ensure you hit the sales targets set by the company.
Maintain effective correspondence and records
Record and report on hotel sales and forward planning for the future
Work with all departments and ensure all guest request and needs are met
Build up strong relationships with all clients
Sales work, both cold calling and calling existing customers
To be successful for this role you MUST have strong sales experience whilst also have worked within the hotel trade
You must also be very confident person on the phone and in person and be smart, quick thinking and have a bubbly, friendly personality
In return the successful candidate will gain and excellent salary + Bonus £25,000-£30,000,000 with excellent bonus and promotional possibilities
Based in Harrogate , you may also be required to be on the road so a driving license and a car are essential to the role
